Mt Dare Hotel
The Mt Dare Hotel is ideally situated on the western edge of the Simpson Desert, just 70 kilometres north of the Dalhousie Thermal Springs, and at the start of the Binn’s Track. We’re right at a crossroads for travellers – from here you can visit Ayers Rock / Uluru to the west, Alice Springs to the north, Queensland via the Simpson Desert to the east, and the Oodnadatta Track and Flinders Ranges to the south.
The pub offers accommodation in our comfortable basic cabins or at our shady bush camping ground, while you can enjoy a great meal in the bar. You can also stock up on bread, milk and meat, along with basic supermarket items.
We sell fuel (premium ULP and diesel) and also have a mechanical workshop for tyres and 4WD or trailer repairs.
Take a break from the rigours of outback travel – stop and relax at the Mt Dare Hotel. Give us a call or check out our informative website that will answer just about any question you may have about travelling in the outback.
